wanted to make a pagebound list for rorys reading list

I had no idea where to start with reading classics, so these are all the books/tips I received from fellow PB members. I hope these can help other as well

1. Some books have podcasts or to go with it, you can listen alongside the book. (Dracula)
2. Read abridged versions of the books (Frankenstein)
3. The Hardcore literature club on yt has some great tips
4. Start with younger classics and work your way backwards.
5. Look at the original genre of the book.
6. For Shakespeare, the website No Fear Shakespeare makes the text a more modernized version
7. Sometimes having background information on the author and the time can help you understand certain parts of the book more

These books, in one way or another, pave the way for readers to ponder the moral implications of consuming animals / what it means to have access to certain foods. It is, perhaps, an argument for a paradigm shift to veganism and/or a veggie lifestyle 🧐🙂‍↕️

I am but one human who’s only read what they’ve read. Recommendations are welcome! I love finding books that normalize plant based eating so please share what you’ve found in the vast bookosphere!
