An unexpected continuation of the series
In the fifth novel, the story of the prophecised dragonets seem to have been well rounded, but this sixth part begins with a natural continuation after a war: establishing education in the trial to preserve the hard earner peace. After opening a school on Jade Mountain to teach dragons from different tribes to know each other and get along, they start to understand that erasing the memories of war is not all that easy. The story will however focus on one new dragon, Moon, as she tries to understand and learn to use her Nightwing powers.
Even though this continuation of the series is unexpected, I'd say that the story is getting better, more complex, and more touching as it goes. My only negative observation would be the lack of good visual presentation of dynamic fight scenes, as I've seen it done a bit more fluently in some superhero comics that deal with action scenes more often.
This is a great children's and young adult novel series, but it can be fully enjoyed by adults as well.
This is a 5/5 stars from me, I really loved Moon, our new heroine.
