To be completely honest, I didn’t love this book. I had a really hard time getting invested in the characters like I did with the other two books. I picked this up and started it a few times and then ended up putting it down because I kept getting bored. Eventually I decided to listen to this on audiobook. I struggled to follow the narrator and the way the narrator voiced Raisa did not match up with what I imagined they were like in my head so I struggled to get fully invested in the world. I am still excited to see what happens in the next book and I’m curious about who Raisa will end up at the end.
I liked it. I honestly read this series for the interesting plotline and dialogs, though this installment was more of the set up for the finale.
This book has no right to be so amazing and emotional. If certain things don't happen in the last book, I'm gonna cry even more than I did during this book.
This book was weird.
I'm not crazy about this series. I like it just fine, but I don't love it as much as I want to. But I've now read three books, so I'll read the conclusion. I think it's good, but not GREAT. But the weird thing about this book... I feel like there was no climax? Like there was no epic battle, no big reveal, no climatic chapters... it just kind of went all through and then ended. So that was weird.
