Nonfiction books that explore how pop culture reflects our identities and politics at large. These books examine music, celebrities, TV, film, games, literature, and the Internet to remind us that entertainment is never just entertainment, and it really is that deep.

A list of books that embody the kindness, joy, and community, along with the curiosity for radical justice, deep analysis, and deconstruction of systems of oppression that I see on this platform. In honor of PB’s birthday (Aug 13, I've been told)! Books by AANHPI authors and/or AANHPI stories. I added Pinoy specifically because while I want all stories for this group I will make a point in finding stories by Filipinos or about Filipino stories. These books aren’t all that are out there. Just what is on my radar.
