Love and Other Foreign Words is here 🥹 I read it years ago and I remember I loved it so much and I always wondered why no one talked about it or was more popular back then!
It is on the list! I haven't read it yet, but love bookish books, so will one day!
Might I suggest:

Books I want to read:
Added all the ones that weren't already on the list (possibly added while you were making this list!).
Yeah, when I started writing my comment this list was at like 40 books so you probably added some that I mentioned in the meantime lol 😂
The Library Book by Susan Orlean is my favorite book about books ever :)
I read it last month and it was really good! I thoroughly enjoyed that style of non-fiction writing
I think Papyrus: The Invention of Books in the Ancient World by Irene Vallejo is a good fit here. I'm midway through it, it's a somewhat basic introduction to the invention of books, that mixes fiction and non-fiction. But the author is the type of person that really reeeally loves books. I'll drop the link here just in case: https://pagebound.co/books/8fb93f27-afaa-48f0-a51b-f5ee147e4801
Sounds great! Added! Thanks so much.
Thank you for the awesome list as always 😊
Where were you earlier this year when I had this theme for a book challenge 😂
Oh, I've always loved this theme, just hadn't gotten around to making a list here
Lol for some reason, I had such a hard time finding a book in this theme. Obviously, though, as soon as I completed the challenge, I started seeing a bunch that would have worked. But scrolling through your list, I see so many I wouldn't have wanted to read for that 😂
Glad I can help, even if it is late :P
Gimme your recs if they aren't already on list list! Fiction and non-fiction welcome!
Wow! That's a lot of books. I didn't see The Look of the Book: Jackets, Covers, and Art at the Edges of Literature by David J. Alworth & Peter Mendelsund. At least I think I didn't? This is a lot of books. 😂
Added! And yeah, it is a lot, but are we surprised that book people like books? Not at all.
A few I have on my own books about books shelf that I don't think I saw ☺️
Scot and Bothered by Alexandra Kiley Book Love by Debbie Tung Not in My Books by Katie Holt The Perfect Rom-Com by Melissa Ferguson Bibliotherapy in the Bronx by Emely Rumble Drawn Together by Juliana Smith The Astral Library by Kate Quinn
Nonfiction if you're adding those: Jane Austen's Bookshelf: A Rare Book Collector's Quest to Find the Women Writers Who Shaped a Legend by Rebecca Romney The World in Books: 52 Works of Great Short Nonfiction by Kenneth C. Davis Why We Read: On Bookworms, Libraries, and Just One More Page Before Lights Out by Shannon Reed Bibliophobia by Sarah Chihaya Paperbacks from Hell: The Twisted History of '70s and '80s Horror Fiction by Grady Hendrix 101 Horror Books to Read Before You're Murdered by Sadie Hartmann
Added them all (only one of them was already hiding on the list)!
Oh yay, not too bad! 🤭
You did very well :) Especially because you can't just keyword search lists, because it is cover based, and this list is huge.
I have another one though not sure if it fits exactly. It’s a romance that centres around a bookstore, though not the books themselves: Taking the Heat by Victoria Dahl. Aside from so much of the plot happening in the bookstore, it has the sexiest BJ scene you’ll probably ever read.
I'll add it!
