Recs if you like If Tomorrow Doesn't Come...

every struggled to find actual lesbian/sapphic books when at the library or bookstore? so did I!

bc of said struggle, I started to curate a personal list of books that either has lesbian MCs and/or featured a primary sapphic romance.

i haven't read all of these, but I do try my diligence in confirming that they meet the above perimeters, since many books claim to be sapphic when they're not. this is an ever updating list, only fiction for now!

Basically, a huge list of every book I ever heard features sapphic characters.

I have not read all of these, so I cannot be sure of the amount of the time on page of the sapphic characters or of the quality of the books.

Some of these I do not plan to read at all, since they are not my style. If you feel like a book doesn't belong here, let me know.

Dystopian matchmaking: romance and love stories that happen against all odds

books where most of the spice is stored in the pain of watching this people hopelessly yearn for eachother

All the YA Sapphic books that have been published (or at least most of them). The books in this list have at least one main character who is either a lesbian, bisexual or pansexual. I only put the first books in series.

Disability & Neurodivergency stories are rare in apocalypse & zombies books. I've found as many as I could!

Not intended as a list of good neurodivergent & dis rep (thou many of them absolutely are - lots are even written by disabled/ND authors! If you ask someone what apocalyptic or post-apocalyptic fiction they've read, there's a fair chance much of that list will have been written by cis men, because they're the books that get the most promotion in the genre.

My hope is that this list will help someone find a new favourite author! ♡

my reading interests for some LGBTQ sci fi, fantasy, and horror books and series

These books have lgbt+ representation in them even if sometimes it's not the main focus or the leading couple. It's important to me to have a list that has variety and of not just stories about love but also those exploring gender identity and about those who don't experience love the same way like asexuals and aromatics. So far thare's a lot of sapphic books as well as quite a few books w/transgender mc's.
