Basically, a huge list of every book I ever heard features sapphic characters.

I have not read all of these, so I cannot be sure of the amount of the time on page of the sapphic characters or of the quality of the books.

Some of these I do not plan to read at all, since they are not my style. If you feel like a book doesn't belong here, let me know.

Stories featuring queer, polyam main characters! Mostly adult books, but contains some YA as well. Although the book doesn't have to have a heavy romantic focus, the polyam rep must be in the MCs, not in side characters. 🫶 (Note: some books in this list are series starters that don't contain polyamory until after the first book!)

Books with protagonists (or love interests) who are sexually or romantically attracted to people regardless of their sex or gender.

Sometimes the word is used on the page, and someone times it has been inferred. Just trying my best.

Romantasy and romantic/erotic fantasy reads starring queer characters! (Recs are welcome, but I'd like to encourage uplifting queer authors first and foremost! For series, I'll just put book 1 unless they can be read as standalones!)

books with bisexual characters (even if they end up with the opposite sex THEY'RE STILL BI)

All the YA Sapphic books that have been published (or at least most of them). The books in this list have at least one main character who is either a lesbian, bisexual or pansexual. I only put the first books in series.

A list of books in the SciFi/Fantasy genre that heavily feature polyamory. Excludes harem romances, but includes other forms of romance.

This shall become the place where I geather all the books with nonbinary representattion / written by nonbinary authors (not sure yet if both). I have not read most of them but rather have them from lists, feel free to suggest more, or report falsly added books

Books of the polyamorous sort. Haven't read all of them so I could be wrong on some. Some of these are set in non-monogamous cultures even if the protagonists themselves are not engaging in romance or polyamory.

Not your regular Dracula, Carmilla, or Twilight story

A list of all the books featured as monthly picks for the Illumicrate Sub. ◽️ Not Including sequels or special editions outside of the monthly sub.◽️ I will include new books about a month after release to avoid spoilers.

These books have lgbt+ representation in them even if sometimes it's not the main focus or the leading couple. It's important to me to have a list that has variety and of not just stories about love but also those exploring gender identity and about those who don't experience love the same way like asexuals and aromatics. So far thare's a lot of sapphic books as well as quite a few books w/transgender mc's.

For where desire is just another move on the board. Cunning, morally questionable people, who are usually several steps ahead draw in an underestimated women into worlds of politics, manipulation, secrets, and power. She learns his rules, becomes harder and smarter, and eventually the power may shift.

The vibes of mentorship with ulterior motives, court intrigue, strategic marriages, obsession disguised as guidance, and a heroine realizing she might enjoy having teeth.

Happy Pansexual Visibility Day (May 24th). It's hard to find books with explicit pansexual representation, but we've done our best to put together a list of a few, though note that some of these it might be subtext and/or open to interpretation if the character is pan or bi or other sexualities. (This list is presented by Duck Prints Press, the indie publisher focused on publishing queer art and stories by queer creators! A group of us collaborate to make these recommendations.)
