Recs if you like Wooing the Witch Queen...

Fantasy romance and romantasy with at least one MMC who doesn't fit the Shadow Daddy archetype in one way or another.

I'm talking genuinely kind and caring heroes, nerdy or academic interests, or a body type that isn't tall and jacked. (No climbing these men like trees here!) Only men who are sad wet cats, sweet cinnamon rolls, or pathetic losers allowed 💖

Inspired by buttercheese69's forum post on the topic.

All sorts of magic including - Wizards, warlocks, druids, alchemists, etc…

I took a very large take, and I hope you’ll enjoy!! 😊

For series, I only put the first book.

Recommendations are very welcome!! 🥰

I love reading romances between men and women where one or both of the characters are bi because it shows the potential of bi people to fall in love with any gender, if that makes sense. So often bi people in “straight” relationships don’t get clocked as LGBTQ+ and I like seeing how they make a “straight” relationship queer. It’s also nice to read about LGBTQ+ outside of achillian and sapphic stories and spaces. I’m always on the hunt for more.

you wanna catalogue the books, you say? translate? reeaaaaaadddd? (mundane and magical libraries/archives in fantasy, yum yum yum)

books with bisexual characters (even if they end up with the opposite sex THEY'RE STILL BI)

Books for people that crave romances but hate the mainstream romantasy trends, main characteristics required to fit this list: M/F pairings are completely fine, but they don't fit into a cisheteronormativy worldview (mostly, men and women aren't different species in these books) No weird and creepy possessiveness Characters that look like normal humans and not only thinstagram models They can find each other hot immediately but the romance has to be developed.

Fun fall reads with a mix of romance and witchcraft!

Light cozy fantasy for when you need a pick me up

Witchy books of all varieties.

witches—good, bad, and beyond

I'm listening to "daggerbound" by t kingfisher and surprised to find that it's more of a cozy adventure than epic fantasy. Every time I come across the niche it feels unexpected but ultimately a sweet little reprieve. The real journey is in the romance rather than the quest. Here are some of my favorite cozy adventures with set in really rich and enchanting worlds.

Tales that heavily involve the fae, in their horror and their beauty.
