Books with winter, snowy, or frozen settings. Usually suspenseful, thriller, or horror. The weather or temperature as a secondary character.

Scared of the dark? Scared that whatever is in the dark will take the one you love. For horror books that feature enough romance to raise the stakes. There’s no promise of HEA. Not erotica, but can be explicit. Not monster romance on premise, but what if the person you’re falling in love with is what goes bump in the night.
