love, and I would humbly suggest Zomromcom and Warm Bodies
you’re the best I’ll add zomromcom now 🙂↕️
hahaha I of course saw you already had warm bodies and meant to say breathers!!
no worries!! Warm Bodies is so good!
Absolutely love seeing Death Warmed Over, Hollow Kingdom, and The Girl With All the Gifts on the list. 🙌🏼 (I recommend adding Rise Again by Ben Tripp to the list.)
thank you!!! I will add that now :)
Thank you Erin!!! I need more zombies in my books, I'm in a deficit!!!!
I have a recommendation for a zombie novella! It's called The Only Safe Place Left is the Dark by Warren Wagner!
Perfect list, no notes 🧟
A couple of YAs but I remember them fondly: Undead & the sequel Unfed by Kirsty McKay and Generation Dead by Daniel Waters - I believe there are 3 others in the series but I’m not sure how may you’d want to include on the list 😊🧟♀️
Oooo lovely suggestions!!! Probably will add in just the ones you mentioned by name!
Undead/Unfed are indeed very fun! I think actually placed somewhere a little between MG & YA.
the descriptions sounded like they’d be a good time!!! thank you @sneakysprite again for the rec!!!!
Just checked my reviews I forgot I made, and I will say I forgot that I called out some ableism in them, esp book 2 where I removed a star. (Not exactly unusual in the genre, sadly.) The audiobooks are fantastic, to memory, if you come to read them! But they're fun and uber British! Very different from the usual zombie fare!
You always have the best lists ! I wish I was as creative as you 🫶🏼
That’s so sweet 🥹 I haven’t made a list in forever, I haven’t been feeling the creative bug lately 😭
