He’s my brother’s biggest hockey rival… but he’s bringing the heat for me. Nikolai Hockey is my life, and I need to make this last season count. But when I’m forced to transfer to rival school McKee University for my senior year, I risk pissing off the captain, who happens to be the older brother of Isabelle Callahan: the gorgeous beam of sunshine I messed around with in secret this summer. Rekindling our fling could risk her brother icing me off the team—not to mention the fact that my scarred past makes having a real relationship impossible—and yet the moment I see Isabelle again, all my wild, burning feelings come rushing back. Izzy I have two goals for sophomore year: win back my old volleyball position, and forget I ever knew devilishly handsome hockey defenseman Nikolai Abney-Volkov. As the youngest and only daughter in a family full of athletes, failure isn’t an option. But when Nik crashes back into my life, I can’t stay away from his broody charm. I’m determined to guard my heart this time, but between the furtive hookups and the heartfelt conversations, the lines between friends-with-benefits and more begin to blur. As we fall deeper into a place we can’t come back from unscathed, we’ll have to make a choice: fight for a future together, or watch it go up in flames. Filled with swoons, spice, sports, and koalas, Wicked Serve is a don’t-miss new adult college sports romance.

THANK YOU Grace Reilly and ValentinePR for giving me the opportunity to read Wicked Serve as an arc book.

although this is not my favorite of the serie I still liked it so much!!

I loved how the relationship between Isabelle and Nik grows so much throughout the book. Isabella was supportive to Nik and tried to make him open up about his past to help him heal, Nik was helping Isabella to starting caring about her self and not letting her compare herself to her brothers and father but to be herself and do what she wants to do what what others expect her to do.

I love how Isabelle defends Nik and comes up for him to make sure he gets the life he wants and deserves.

This book has some touchy topics so if that is triggering or hard to read for you be aware that this book has the topics childhood trauma, domestic abuse and panic disorder.
Even thought these topics are really heavy and hard Grace has written about it in a respective and beautiful way.

A relationship without any toxicity, just love and support and pure cuteness!

Both Isabelle and Nikolai are such great characters. She's so caring and selfless and supports her family so much. He is so protective and him taking care of his mental health issues so he can do better?? Love a self-aware king!!

But seriously, the healthy relationship did it for me, it just made me really happy!

    Tropes:
    - Secret relationship
    - Brother's Rival
    - Sports/college romance
    - Summer fling turns into second chance

I received as an ARC and was thrilled because I love this series so much.
Of course this one was just as amazing as the others.
I really loved Isabelle and Nikolais story and how they found their way back to one another.

The family dynamic in this series is what I love the most. How they all are there for each other and how close they are regardless of their differences in sports and life.

    Such a good read!!
