What a cute short story! I enjoyed the pace of this read a lot, short stories can often be rushed since there are so few pages to get the idea across, but I loved the pace of this one. It kept me engaged without feeling like it was rushed.
The story touches well on motherhood and I love that the end comes full circle. The cute little details of "witchcraft" were so much fun to read and I loved the interactions from the mother's side. There were several emotional moments within the story but thankfully they didn't really linger, considering the shortness of the read.
Overall, a cute and quick short story that was heartwarming and enjoyable!

Short and sweet mother-daughter story, with a sprinkling of witchcraft. Not much more to it than that!
