Fortune Academy Underworld: Book Five (Fortune Academy, #5)

J.R. Thorn

Enjoyment: Quality: Characters: Plot:

Lucifer’s here. And he’s pissed. Lucifer has descended on Fortune Academy Underworld a whole five days early—leave it to Cole to be a big fat liar about his timetable. He wasn’t lying about Lucifer’s secret weapon, though, and the truth will take us all for a ride. Olivia is my best friend and she has a past almost as dark as mine, one even she’s not ready to remember and one Lucifer is ready to exploit. I want to help her through all of this, but two of my newest Virtues are trapped in the pit, the lowest level of Hell and Lucifer’s territory. Getting to them will prove harder than we thought. Lucifer’s weapon is bleeding through the realms and if he gets his way, Purgatory will be forever destroyed—and my Virtues with it. The race starts now.

SO MUCH HAPPENS in this one … yet, there’s still so much more to come, I can tell.

This is an absolute must-read as soon as Book Four ends but … as soon as this ends, you’ll need Book Six. Thorn is savage when it comes to cliffhangers and I love every second of it.

This book is spent in the Unicorn Shifter Realm and we meet what I expect will be bigger characters in another Thorn series, the crossover is always fun.

There’s loads of action, drama, all the supernaturals, an epic, complex plot, and of course, steamy group scenes. Nothing to complain about here.

    5 stars.

The audible is 100% perfect. I think Moyen is my favorite narrator, she nails every single bit of it.
    5-star performance.
