Based on the HRCYED 3.0 prompt! Books with weather or natural disasters/phenomena on the cover (at least one version), including: rain, storms, lightning, clouds, snowfall, fog, sunshine, tornados, earthquakes, wildfires, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis.

Not an exhaustive list - feel free to suggest titles! I tried to keep it more focused on books that fit the prompt but would be harder to find (i.e. ones that don't have the key words in the title).

This list is about fictional families which break your heart, make your heart and reveal parts of you, you never knew existed. Its about love and dysfunction and how they often come packaged together.

I have a favourite audiobook narrator, and it is one Michael Crouch! I'm constantly checking out books just because he's the narrator and I've seen some people on here enjoying him as well so!!! this list is for my people :))

The Carnegie's are the United Kingdom's major children's book awards. There are awards for both writing and illustration. This list is for the Carnegie Medal for Writing, which is chosen by children's librarians for exceptional books written in English for children and young people. The medals are awarded by CILIP and the Youth Libraries Group. Historical Fiction books that are actually interesting! They’ll keep you entertained and you’ll actually learn something!

Books with action in real dictatorships, fiction. Some of them are action books, some other are centered around characters and normal people life.

These are all the books that changed my life and the way that I view the people and cultures around me.

Most popular or most read books for young adults or middle grade.

I love a good historical fiction novel, and sometimes the ones based on a real event, person, or disaster really bring out those human emotions we deserve to simmer in for a bit. From heartache and heroism to life and loss, these novels take the reader on a journey and lead them through all sorts of emotions along the way. More novels will be added to this list as I read them, and I am always on the look out for more historical fiction recommendations.
