With Any Luck (The Improbable Meet-Cute, #5)

There was something about this story that kept me from fully connecting to the characters. It’s a short story so there is limited time to establish the connection between the romantic leads and I never felt I got to know Theo at all. Of course, that made it hard for me to feel the connection between him and Audrey.

The story is interesting, although the degree to which Audrey drank and things that happened while she was drunk made me a bit uncomfortable. Especially considering, from what little I knew of Theo he seems like a good guy. It just didn’t work for me although I feel it would work well for a lot of people. It’s not a bad story, it’s just not great.

This was one of my top ones from the series. I really liked this one and kept wanting to read more. I liked the plot, characters etc.
