A series of books where Disney films didn't go quite the way we remember

Fairy tale Retelling ranging from YA to Adult (will be updating as I come across them)

Are you getting recommended the same fantasy books over and over? All of these books are over a year old and finished by less than 1000 people on PB. (YA and Adult, standalones and first books in a series)

There are so many books that take familiar Disney characters and give a little more. From standalones to series, I'm hoping to catch as many as I can!

Books that are Disney retellings or just give a very Disney magical vibe!

books that take inspiration from or are direct retellings of the classics, fairytales, myths, and legends.

Retellings of my childhood favourite fairytale

I love retellings, especially of mythology or fairy tales. Here's a bunch of my favorite retellings. I've only included the first book if it's a series, but in most cases, all the books are worth reading.

If you tell me a book has found family I will almost always read it. It's definitely one of my top favorite tropes. Leave recs if you want!

Books I think are worth reading again because it’s enjoyable and/or it would better a second time around.

My favorite retellings and reimaginings. Leave more recs below!

Books inspired by Disney, or published by Disney imprints

What happens after happily ever after? or what if…?

All of the above is on this list! These are all titles and people I can't get enough of. SO these are my recs
