Recs if you like The Looking Glass Wars...

A list for books based on the works of other writers (or: authors copying each other’s homework 🙂‍↕️). Suggestions welcome!

books where characters step through mirrors into new or different worlds.

Portal fantasy (middle grade through adult lit with maybe some sci-fi too).

Because sometimes you just want to read about characters literally escaping their world or temporarily exploring other ones since you’re stuck here.

(Please note: series will only contain the earliest applicable volume even if more/all are the same to avoid clutter. Also, open to recs!)

Books based on Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland

Fiction riffing on Lewis Caroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass.

For fans of Alice in Wonderland interested in a twist on the original

A collection of stories inspired by Alice's Adventures in Wonderland!

Neverland and/or Wonderland retellings~ A list for everyone who loves an otherworldly retelling! I haven’t read most on this list so I can’t say whether all are good or bad. Recs welcome!
