A highly emotional, sensitive story about second chances at life and love. Emma, mother to seven-year-old London, finds herself separated and on the verge of divorce. She is not looking for love, just a happy life and the ability to take care of her daughter. Brody is one of the most popular rock stars in the world, who is also going through a divorce. An extremely attractive man—possibly the most attractive man that Emma has ever seen—with a British accent and piercing, intense, blue eyes. While visiting a friend in New York City, Emma runs into Brody, literally. Brody knows he has to have her, and Emma knows she doesn’t have time for a distraction while on her quest to rebuild her life and take care of the most important part of it—London. Will Emma ignore the powerful attraction she feels for him, or will she allow him to be the perfect distraction for her first weekend without her daughter? Wrapped In Silk was rewritten from the originally published novel in 2013. In addition to added scenes the entire book has been changed from narrative to dual POV. Alternate cover for ASIN: B00C2JOLQQ

First impression before I sit and think what I want to write? Brody Hines should be on every book boyfriend list!
Brody Hines is a British rock star in the middle of divorce. There is no real contention but since he's in the media's sights all the time, everything is overanalyzed. Emma Fields is a single mom who is also getting divorced and just getting her feet back under her again. She is working as a substitute teacher but she is really trained to be a book editor. She is college (long-time) friends with Lila, who is the PR representative for Brody and his band. When they first meet, it's contentious, but Brody realized even then there is something between them.
The love story builds throughout the book and it's beautiful, there is angst, but it seems like there will be a happily ever after. But then there is a cliffhanger, of course, so many more things are bound to be angsty in Book 2.
