Recs if you like This Much is True...

audiobooks where the narrator is the author! any book goes, no matter the genre. there may be multiple versions of the audiobook, but at least one version has the author as narrator. please suggest more in the comments!

I have been collecting (and reading) a long list of memoirs, autobiographies and biographies about women who had fascinating lives. I thought I might as well make it a list! A lot of them I have read and enjoyed, some are from my TBR. I am especially fascinated by 18th-19th century women's stories, so there will be a lot of those. And women from diverse backgrounds. Open to suggestions!

A collection of queer history and historical fiction that nevertheless educates about who we are and where we come from, as a community and individually. We need to know, not only what our queer ancestors and elders went through and fought for, but how and why. So that we might love and protect each other better

(They’re even better as an audiobook!)
