    Likes:
    * the family drama/story was pretty interesting
    * how the “beast” became the beast is intense and how he gets is revenge on this person in the end of the story is so good.

    Dislikes:
    * I think I’ve read books with degradation kink and it was manageable for me but I didn’t like how it was done in this one. The FMC consented to this (sort of) but idk if just didn’t make sense. I get that someone being into a certain kink doesn’t have to have a reason as to why but with the beauty & beast retelling and how the story proceeds it felt like she needed a reason but there wasn’t one.

Overall the story was good. The way the beast becomes the beast is really intense and it added a really good dramatic aspect to the story. Also how he gets to actually enact his revenge in this said person was chefs kiss good!
Everything else - the relationship between the MCs and the sex was just frustrating. I felt like something just wasn’t clicking for me.
Also another freaking book that ends on a cliff hanger ( a huge one too!) and I had no idea it was going to happen! So freaking frustrating.

    3/5
