Enjoyment: Quality: Characters: Plot:

I needed to leave, it was my last chance to get away from my foster family before it was too late. So I grabbed as much cash as I could find and headed as far away as I could get. Ending up in Ridge Valley, I plan on getting a job as quickly as I can. Only problem is that I didn’t have any more money for a motel. Over hearing some of the locals mention how the ranch on the edge of town is still closed for the season. I decide my best option is to break into one of the cabins and crash there until I can make enough cash to get my own place. What I didn’t expect was a six foot four ripped tattooed cowboy to find me. Marshall is an older, dark, and broody asshole, but I can’t seem to get him out of my mind. I know he wants me too, but getting him to admit it is another story. Marshall One call from my sister and my night out is ruined when I find a squatter in one of my family’s cabins Thankfully it isn’t some homeless creep. Instead standing there threatening me is a sassy, outspoken, and sexy as hell woman The ranch’s peak season is just around the corner and I can’t have distractions. Especially ones who look like her. I see the way she looks at me, as tempting as she may be. I don't do long-term and a girl like her deserves better. But then her past comes knocking on my front door, and I’ve never been one to walk away from a fight Marshal is book one in a series but can be read as a standalone. Although for overall enjoyment we suggest reading them all. Our MMC is possessive and controlling.
