India Black in the City of Light Another fun (short) episode in the Madam of Espionage series. India is yet again a humorous narrator and madam-turned-spy with a knack of getting into trouble (a stinking mess to be more precise) and French returns as the gallant secret agent who also has a knack of getting into trouble! Fortunately together they make a pretty good team. The novella seems to be a stand-alone story, not following the revelations at the end of book 3 and with no clue about chronological order in the series other than the mention of French' first name. The disconnect with the book 3 cliffhanger was disappointing at first, but thankfully a book 4 excerpt (Chapter One) is included and picks up were we left off. Too bad Februari 2014 is still far away.....
