This is the first book from The Darkest Lies Trilogy by Bethany-Kris that brings us the story of Karine and Roman.
Roman is born into the Bratva life but his behaviour is dangerous and he is sent away to Chicago where he's supposed to lay low. But then he meets Karine.
Karine is forbidden. But she possessed his mind. His soul. Her spirit is different. Everything about her is different. And Karine's desire is to be with Roman.
What a book. It was a hell of a ride this story. It was amazing came back to this world and to see some old characters and to knew new ones. Roman is a very interesting character and Karine was a mystery. Their story was compelling and very addictive and that ending...... That ending was just crazy. I don't know how I'm going to wait for the next book. I need it right now!
