Cereus Blooms at Night Overall Rating: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ (4/5) or 7.71/10 overall Characters - 8 Atmosphere - 8 Writing - 9 Plot - 7 Intrigue - 8 Logic - 7 Enjoyment - 7 Overall Thoughts: I had to read this for English class. A lot of books that I have to read for a class, I'm purely reading to reach the milestone for next class, but this genuinely got me hooked. I had much more of a pull to actually read this and couldn't put it down for a while once I did, which is fairly rare with assigned books. That said, this book touches on a lot of heavy themes and was tough to read at times. So please, please, PLEASE check the trigger warnings before picking up this book. 🫶
