Emily Seife at Scholastic Press has acquired MG novel in verse The Girl in the Wall by Good Different author Meg Eden Kuyatt. When a neurodivergent girl discovers a ghost living in her grandmother’s walls who seems determined to destroy the house, the family, and the girl's own relationship with her grandmother, she must uncover what the ghost wants and what secrets her grandmother is keeping. Publication is slated for 2025; Lauren Spieller of Folio Literary Management negotiated the deal for world rights.
