Rating (Based on Personal Scale): 1.25/5 – One or two things I liked, but overall a struggle. My Take: Not What I Expected—And Not in a Good Way Thoughts & Feels: I honestly can’t believe I ended up reading this book, especially since Josh and Gemma Make a Baby wasn’t my favorite. I went in with pretty low expectations, and while it definitely kept me interested, it completely caught me off guard. Without spoiling anything, I spent most of the book just… in disbelief. It wasn’t the kind of sequel I was expecting—it was more frustrating and sad than anything else. There were definitely some unexpected twists, but emotionally, it just didn’t land for me. I finished it feeling more dissatisfied than fulfilled, and that’s never a great way to end a book. Unfortunately, this one just wasn’t for me.
