Mikayla tried to warn us! Being an influencer IS hard! You have to work until 5:19 some days, open hundreds of PR packages, AND actually have to film those lucrative sponsorship videos but in these books, it's not just the influencer comment sections that become a blood bath! Don't forget to like, subscribe, and suggest more influencer horror/thrillers in honor of the hardest working people around! weird girl reads — drop ur suggestions

Do you, like me, often find yourself looking at a book cover thinking, "Y'all are doing waaay too much." Why are book covers so dang extra nowadays? Here are some books that appeal to me simply because they have covers that don't look like a 19 year old with Photoshop barfed a bunch of design elements on a book and called it a day. Some I've read, some are on the TBR. And to all the authors and publishers out there, K.I.S.S.

All sorts of stories about all sorts of women. Mostly litfic, some horror.

Weird girl literature, horror, and nonfiction novels, short stories, anthologies, etc.

Books with rabbits on the cover (and hares for those who care to distinguish!) for my investigation as to what genre bunnies usually represent

I do note that 70% is horror, but I am biased in my reading so that doesn't mean anything yet.

Recommendations are welcome, just keep in mind I'm trying to avoid children and middle grade books and I'm very hesitant to include YA books- but please feel free to convince me.

Dark stories about failed actors, actresses, shadowed talents and more

Books that were weird but amazing (in my opinion)
