Horror in < 200 pages
Horror books with a page count of 200 pages or less.
Before we started defining novellas by word count, they were defined as being any book less than 200 pages. Source: my Analysis of Short Stories & Literature professor in community college. I loved that class. But he loved James Joyce. So, ymmv, I guess.

Outside freezes, so I want chills in my book
Horrors and thrillers set in winter (21st December to 20th March, but I will count earlier December as winter too to make things easier) or in a really cold place that reminds of wintertime.
The list will contain both more known books that you've probably already been recommended and some that I've seen have had less attention, at least over here. I have not read them all, but I want to complete this list myself too during the next Christmasses.

Dark Polar Horror
Reading for when the nights get dark and lonely, and for when you feel the chill in your bones. Is there something out there in the long, dark night? Or are you just lost and hoping for something out there so you aren't so alone? Whatever it may be? βοΈ Inspired by other lists I've seen around and wanted to compile here

We Call Them Giants. Chapter 4: The Colossi
There are things that do not just walk upon the worldβthey consume it. These are the giants that the stars puked out, the ones forged in the furnace of ancient suns or birthed from the black voids of the deep. They are not 'big' in the way a mountain is big; they are 'big' in the way an apocalypse is big. To look upon them is to realize our own insignificance. They are the gears of the universe, the shadows on the moon, and the architects of our extinction. We call them ... The Colossi.
