Sharing Shane

Sharing Shane

Hannah Murray

Enjoyment: Quality: Characters: Plot:

Can a fling turn into a future? Veronica was supposed to be spending the week in Bermuda with her charming boyfriend, not some guy she’d never met. But she caught her boyfriend charming the neighbor, and now she needs a warm body to fulfill the double occupancy requirement of the resort—or forfeit the pre-paid, non-refundable vacation entirely. Shane is way too busy to take a vacation. But his boyfriend thinks he needs a break, and a friend of a friend needs a favor. Which is how he ends up in a beachside bungalow with a beautiful woman—and only one bed. Grumpy, bearded Shane seems like the perfect way to jump back into being single—or would be if the sexy carpenter wasn’t taken. But taken is relative, and when a series of events reveals that Shane is A) bisexual, B) polyamorous, and C) as into her as she is into him, they make damn good use of that one bed. Back home, the reality of Shane’s polyamorous life could throw a bucket of cold water on all that heat. Sharing Shane for fun and games is one thing, but Veronica will have to decide if she can share him for love—for a lifetime.

Veronica is reeling from finding her boyfriend of two years mid-act with her neighbor IN VERONICA"S BEDROOM. She boots him and now she has to take their romantic vacation alone. Except for romance reasons, she ends up sharing a beach cottage with Shane, boyfriend of married Wyatt. And they are into each other immediately. Shane and Veronica, but Wyatt's not out of the question...

This a sweet, hot, poly romance. Veronica is an outsider to poly relationships at the beginning, and isn't sure how she feels about more than a fling with Shane. They do a lot of communicating throughout, and Veronica goes in with open eyes, trying to learn if the poly life is for her.

The communication is so good. The lust is so good. The terrible ex-boyfriend shows up a couple times, but doesn't become the focus of the second half. If you're interested in a hot, poly romance that educates its readers about one way polyamory can work, this is for you.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

    3.5 ⭐️

The premise of the book seemed interesting and i was right! First of all, this was hot, and entertaining.
I really liked the development of the story and even though Veronica had no experience with polyamory, she did not judge and was always eager to learn.

The third act conflict bothered me a little because Shane always insisted that trust and communication were key in polyamory and he didn't follow it!
But hey, overall a good book that I enjoyed reading. I would like to read more by this author.
