Recs if you like Grave Witch...

books in which Death, or a god of Death, or the Grim Reaper (or a Grim Reaper), is personified. This list will NOT include the works of Neil Gaiman (ew)

Protagonists and supporting characters who see and/or hear the dead / ghosts

Inspired by our fave chaotic show! Romance stories paired with hunting the supernatural and/or with MMC’s inspired by or similar to Dean/Sam.

Full disclosure, most of these books are a compilation of recs, so I haven’t read them all myself!

Books that feel like a CW show that takes place in the 2000-2010s.

Featuring representations of the Grim Reaper, soul collectors, or gods over death and dying.

FMC’s who don’t need to be rescued. In fact, they’re more likely to DO the rescuing!

If it’s Ghost Whisperer–coded, it has ghosts and psychics. Spooky reads featuring mediums, sensitives, or characters who help spirits/humans and use other psychic abilities in the death biz.

I’ll continue to add and update this list as I read more books 😍✨

( Honestly it’s just a little niche I adore and wanted to share in case anyone else liked it too ♥️)

Magic exists in these worlds and the characters wield it well

Books categorized as urban fantasy. The more (human shaped) creatures, the better!
