Iâve got a couple! The Deathless One by Emma Hamm & Even in Death by Randi Garner (book 2 in a series where you need to read book 1)
It looks like the same god is featured in book 1 of that series, so I will add that one (The Goddess Of)! And I added The Deathless One. Thank you!!

I'm so happy to see The Many Deaths of Laila Starr on here! I read it years ago and it has always stuck with me. Beautifully written and illustrated!!
I also recommend A Fig For All The Devils by CS Fritz. One of my favorite depictions of The Grim Reaper!

One of the earliest ones I read was A Dirty Job by Christopher Moore & after that I realized how much I enjoyed seeing what people's perspectives on death personified are. While I understand the reason for a certain author's works not being on here - that depiction was one I was fond of (but now have complicated feelings about due to him being a piece of trash).
I really hope this gets chosen to become a quest but even without the prospect of a badge, I know I want to check these books out.

Re NG, I hear ya, I hate that my boy Terry Pratchett and Good Omens and even my beloveds David Tennant and Michael Sheen have taken hits bc of that pos. I read Masters of Death last year and looooved it, the humor is very fun but the emotionality/depth is there too, if you havenât read that one already!
