whether it's straight-up Jane Austen retellings, set in an alternative regency-era England, or a whole new world that has those prim and proper vibes, these books all introduce magic, spells, and perhaps even a bit of whimsy into the familiar regency setting (may also contain Victorian or Gregorian-era like fantasy novels, since they can have a lot of overlap in vibes!)

soft and sweet and whimsical ! (the story/characters/world/atmosphere must be a bit canon-ly pastel)

books for the barbie movie lovers

mermaids, fairies, and anything whimsy is such fun way to spend these warmer months

Books that I think have beautiful front covers. Open for recommendations!

Fantasy ebooks available through the Kobo Plus subscription. If you have any recommendations, please let me know! For book series, I've only put the first book, but the entire series will usually be available. For some series, the first book is also free but the rest are available through Kobo Plus.

Fiction books with or about plants, both real and magical, healing or dangerous (will continue to add to this—feel free to make suggestions/recommendations!)

💌 updated monthly.

Books that have the power to become their own fairy tale story and some fairytale retellings that still feel unique or are just pure classics. Happy Endings, Tragic ones and To Be Continued all included. (In Series only the first books are listed)

A list of books that are set in magic worlds/hidden schools that everyone should want to visit at least once in their life. They have learning about magic and lots of adventures. (Books in a series only have the first book on the list)
