Recs if you like A Fate Forged in Fire...

my all time fave duologies that are complete because sometimes a series is too much commitment and a standalone isn’t enough

I'm sure some of these are already on your TBR, so might as well add some more! Let me know if I am missing any of your favorites!

This list is dedicated to the couples who crossed the line only after they actively tried to murder each other. The stakes here are life-or-death, not simple "rivalry" or "bullying". When I say enemies, I mean literally lethal. I'm always looking to add more bodies to this pile - please feel free to share your hit lists with me!

Duologies. Duologies! A list full of duologies. This has a collection of titles I'm interested in and some recommended to me. To save you the trouble, I made sure to put both books in a duology in this list. Enjoy! 💐

Disabled People don’t exist to Inspire Others.

If you want some book recommendations with disabled folks that just exist (without that inspirational suffering or being portrayed as a hero) - this is your list 🤭💗

I know there are a couple other dragon lists out there, but a lot of them were missing some of my favourites, so I'm just making my own!

These books the dragons will play a significant role in the plot, even if the focus of the book isn't dragons themselves (like the Hobbit).

For books in a series, I'll only be adding the first one.

Feel free to drop suggestions! I'm trying to include all the dragon books I can.

books with bisexual characters (even if they end up with the opposite sex THEY'RE STILL BI)

depending on where you live it’s either winter or summer and the weather outside is probably weather, so here is a list of books with weather related titles

taking suggestions!!

Just gathering amazing authors that sit down to write in Europe (EU or not) and hopefully get some recs from you 🥰

Just an absolute butt-tonne of dragon books, baby!!

Books that are just as good as the cover promises. AKA: Fantastic book covers that also happen to be fantastic books! List will be added to in the future because I can’t leave well enough alone. (Suggestions welcome, leave it in the comments.)

Ceud mìle fàilte! ☆ Castles, Moors, Sìth and lochs and trees for as far as the eye can see! From fantasy, sci fi, crime, lit fic, horror, to non fiction, the Scots can do it all 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

A small country with mighty good *authors and equally amazing books that deserve a spotlight!

*List mainly features authors who are Scottish but also some books by authors who may not be Scottish but their books are set in Scotland!

Or maybe rather romanticizing Celtic Mythology creatures? 👀🤭 Puca rips off people's heads to use them as balls, or kidnaps children and eats them would be a gentle lover and a perfect father of your children 😍 Dullahan the messenger of death would love you fiercely, even with his grumpy demeanor 🥰 (Getting blinded on one eye after looking at him? Never heard of that..)

Give me more badass FMCs who don’t wait for someone else to save the day!! Quick with a blade, quicker with a comeback, these bad b*tches take on monsters, villains, and terrible life choices with equal ferocity. If you’re looking for women who break rules, break hearts, and occasionally break a few bones, this is the ultimate list for you.

Books by Scottish authors, across genres. (Will not be including any JKR.) Dark crime, litfic, a bit of satire, fantasy, scifi & speculative fiction. Trying to include a mix of everything in here.

Recommendations welcome. 🫶

Thick girls in romantasy & fantasy. Because we deserve to be swooned too!

among other flying cuties

When done well, arranged marriage stories can be gorgeous, transcending, good shit.

I have read and enjoyed all of these books.

Fantasy and romantasy books set in Scotland ( whether it be Edinburgh, Glasgow, the Highlands and the Lowlands) and inspired by Scottish culture

A collection of recommendations for the stories of couples who basically meet at the altar and then have to figure each other out after they’re already married. Sometimes reluctant, sometimes secretly pining, sometimes fully in denial, always a little tense

Slow burn, emotional intimacy, shared beds with stranger energy 😌 (hopefully not stranger danger energy)

Made from all your amazing recs, and very much open for more 📚✨
