A list of books in the magical realism genre by Latin American authors.

Magical Realism is defined as a genre that contains magical elements in a real-world setting. Latin American Magical Realism emerged as a way to describe the realities of living in Latin America and explore how myth, politics, spirituality, and the legacy of colonialism intersect in the region as well as challenge the history that is told about Latin America.

Based on the HRCYED 3.0 prompt! Books with weather or natural disasters/phenomena on the cover (at least one version), including: rain, storms, lightning, clouds, snowfall, fog, sunshine, tornados, earthquakes, wildfires, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis.

Not an exhaustive list - feel free to suggest titles! I tried to keep it more focused on books that fit the prompt but would be harder to find (i.e. ones that don't have the key words in the title).
