This is an excellent guide for someone who is starting out reading for others. I also appreciate that instead of being another dictionary of standard meanings, the book has helpful exercises and techniques that actually improve your skills as a reader. I've read cards for over 15 years, and this is a perfectly put together synthesis of the things I've learned as a professional reader in an easily digestible format. If you're someone who is new to reading cards for others, pick this up. This is 100% a must-read.
