my favorite novels featuring experimental, inventive, unconventional narrative forms and structures

genre is fake anyways but for the sake of clarity, basically non-romance-genre (tho i do adore it too!) literary fiction with tender, interesting love stories and/or well-written sex and yearning, NOT necessarily any happy ending, however.
