As a kid, Logan Preston was a brat. Through his teens, he became the bad boy. Now, at nineteen, no one knows what the hell to expect. High school dropout, Logan Preston is a good-for-nothing stoner. A black sheep. A disappointment. The worst Preston Punk of the lot. At least that’s how everyone in his small town makes him feel. But Logan Preston has secrets. Secrets so dark and so deep below the surface that the only way he can fight them is to stay high, high, high. He wears cockiness as a mask. Arrogance as his armor. Until one girl, one night, asks one life-changing question: What's beneath the bravado, Logan Preston?

Jay is the master of twisting a situation and creating havoc. This book was so good. Logan has always been the screw up. He smokes too much weed, fucks too many girls, and makes messes that his family has to clean up. His brothers don’t take him seriously but his dad believes in him. Logan has a secret that is destroying him.
Aubrey lost her dad and her mother ran from their home town but she doesn’t know why. Her mom burned everything if his and refuses to talk about him. So when she hits 18, she finds her own place and starts over in a new town. Where she collided with Logan.
These two certainly had issues. I loved watching Logan come around to having a relationship. He messed up but he was trying. And Aubrey was trying to let her mom back in too. Enter Aubrey’s vindictive ex who blew everything up with a stick of dynamite.
This one will break you before it puts the pieces back. Her stories are never easy but they are always worth it!!
