These books either have a main character or main side character who's important to the plot with deaf and/or hard of hearing rep! 🙉👂🔕 I haven't read all of these, but I have read a good chunk, so I'm always happy to talk with anyone about them & recs are always appreciated! 💜

A selection of primarily standalone, easy-to-read comic books/graphic novels for people who want to start getting into Marvel! Mostly strong female protagonists and/or queer representation (or subtext). Any series listed will only show the first volume. List is in progress - feel free to suggest more!

I know there are some comic book lists out there, but I was thinking about making a list of comic book series I think people should not miss (or books I would put in a Starte Pack type quest). I am excluding graphic novels and focusing on multiple-volume comics. I am only adding the first volume of each.

Just because there’s pictures doesn’t make the book any less- there’s so much artistry that can go into a comic or graphic novel and I want to share some of my favorites and highly recommended ones with others.
