These books either have a main character or main side character who's important to the plot with deaf and/or hard of hearing rep! 🙉👂🔕 I haven't read all of these, but I have read a good chunk, so I'm always happy to talk with anyone about them & recs are always appreciated! 💜

I’d suggest Dust by Alison Stine!
I haven't heard of that before, thank you for the rec!!
I suggest The Whispering Dark by Kelly Andrews, it's a great book with a deaf MC :)
I can't believe I forgot that one! I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
I'd vote adding the Empyrean books (or maybe one just to note the character's presence overall?) - Jesinia Neilwart, the scribe, who is deaf and communicates through sign language. I'd say why I think she was an important minor character for the plot but I may say too much?? But, I can also see leaving it off the list - so adding a note here. 🙂
I've only read book one but I plan on catching up before the end of the year so I'm sure I'll find out soon! Thank you so much for the recommendation!
True Biz is a great book that primarily takes place at a school for deaf students and is told from multiple perspectives. Highly recommend!
That sounds amazing! Adding now!
