Recs if you like Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World...

Not all collections hold things you can touch. This one holds worlds that breathe, selves that dissolve, and realities that refuse to hold their shape. These are the fictions that live on the edge of what language can contain - and sometimes just beyond. I'll break these lists down into the total number of words in the title to make planning easier. This is an on going list and always open for recommendations

i love murakami but I haven't read enough! full list of all his works here, from the bottom up we have:

Most of what I read is either of the literary, fantasy or sci-fi genre so that's basically what this will be about. Additionally, please be aware, poetic prose implies narrative techniques and stylistic flair rather than actual poetic form.

Books that challenge reality in all the best ways. From SciFi and speculative fiction to horror and literature these books are true escapism. Most I have read and loved some I’m most definitely going to read. I’m sure not all will be for everyone and that’s ok! Just wanted to share a little weirdness 🤓
