Reading Central Asia
A region that shaped world history, produced some of its most luminous poetry, and somehow stayed off most reading lists. A reading list for anyone who realized they knew almost nothing about/from Central Asia and wanted to fix that. Central Asia includes Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and most of Kazakhstan. Sometimes Afghanistan is also considered a part of it.

Central Asian fiction in English
Here I will be collecting fiction books written by Central Asian (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan) authors that were published in English—either originally written or translated into English.
I’m on a personal journey of discovering more stories written in or about my homeland (which often intersects with most Turkic cultures especially that are now Central Asia) and would love if others share the joy of reading outside the comfort zone. ✨

Around the World in Fiction

Reading around the world
Just a list of books I've read from around the world, hoping others will find it useful.

Baby Name Generator
Name generators my beloveds. Just a list made by someone whose D&D characters were mostly christened with the help of RNG. The one and only criterion: Title is a first/given name (or nickname too)! Some are verified by the book actually containing a character with that name.

Read Around The World - Asia
Trying to read one author from every country in Asia (choice of authors based on personal preference and chosen from https://readaroundtheworldchallenge.com/ and https://ayearofreadingtheworld.com/thelist/). (Countries represented in ascending order from Z to A).

1book1country
I challenged myself by creating this list of readings. I am saving one book or two per country. The books can be classics, thrillers, fantasy, science fiction, contemporary novels...
