Memoirs from people who either are or were in religious movements or cults of any kind. This is not anti-religion, and includes memoirs of people still in their religions, and I am ALWAYS looking for more - please offer suggestions.

Stories of immigrants or refugees, people who need to accommodate to a new life and a new culture. Some are real stories some are fiction.

Books with a strong paternal relationship, no matter if the paternal figure is related to the protagonist or not, if is a father, a grandfather, uncle etc.

Books about oppressed women, both fiction and non-fiction.
