I read Misquoting Jesus in college for a class and I think that's what started my separation from Christianity entirely. At the time I had stopped going to church, but that really solidified it for me. Once I read the amount of unintentional and intentional changes to the Bibld, I knew there was no way I could view it as a flawless or accurate account. People are flawed and so we do change things for our own benefit. The choice to leave our books of the Bible about women, changing language, general editing errors...I can't view this as a document written by God through man. It is a document maybe inspired by God, but wholly written for and by men. Anyways, thanks for this list!!!
Bart Ehrman is incredible! I haven’t read any of his books yet but I’ve listened to some of his podcast and read excerpts. My experience was similar in that once I realized the Bible was not inerrant as I had been taught, it caused the house of cards to come tumbling down. I hope the list is helpful! I intend to add more to it. There are also a couple of other lists out there I’ve stumbled upon surrounding the topic
