The Book of Witching

Probably more like 4 or 4.5 stars but we'll round up because I could not put this down.

It was okay? Some of the drama/characters from 1594 were hard to follow. It just wasn’t that engaging for me.

Well this book made me sad. But I liked it.

I didn’t really know what to expect from this one as I’ve read similar books and they fell a bit flat…but this was SO good. The dual-timeline worked really well and felt natural and it makes for a really compelling story (no regrets that I binged this!) and was a really beautiful and atmospheric historical fiction and modern-day blend.

3.5 stars rounded up because it made me finish in about 2 days/I couldn’t put it down AND because the story is based off a real woman…… but 3 stars for the amount of questions unanswered.
