3.5 ⭐️ this book had so much potential and it just fell short for me. The amount of things that were almost revealed or happened off page really took away from my experience with this book. I know that most things will be explained in the next book but the fact that there is as much information left unresolved in this book as there is was really frustrating. Jackon and Marlowe, really????? Of all the people to betray Faythe?? And with no reasoning revealed. Why build up Kyleer and especially Zaiana so much just for her to kill but not kill him, take 3 breaths, and get over it?? If she’s supposed to actually be good, she has way farther to go than I thought at the beginning of this book.
