Katie Lightfoot is hoping for a new beginning when she moves to Savannah in order to run her aunt and uncle's bakery. However, she gets more than she bargained for when a customer is murdered outside of the bakery before it even officially opens. When her uncle becomes the prime suspect, Katie sets out to prove his innocence and find the real culprit.

I liked this book. The premise was really interesting. I liked how the magical aspects were woven into the plot. It was just enough to supplement the story while not overpowering it. The mystery was interesting and kept me guessing. My least favorite aspect of the story was the emerging love triangle between Katie and her suitors. However, I am still going to try to locate and read the next book in the series.
