This book took my breath away, I went through what felt like a rollercoaster of emotions with this book. I was practically begging Fia to just sit down and have a conversation with Irian and half the two of them work through their issues. I get that they needed actual time to process what happened to them in the first book but boy did I feel some real heartbreak when Fia said “You are not my home” to Irian. I felt such strong emotions about it I was so gonna rage quit the book if they didn’t get their HEA. Well did they? Who knows, there is no way there isn’t going to be a book three. Speaking of the rest of the book I totally got sucked into this fantasy world again and it honestly is never a bad time. The world that the author crafts is so intriguing that I myself could just step into the book. The characters continue to grow and develop at a refreshing pace and nothing feels forced. I honestly didn’t even see the twist coming until it was happening. I felt just as betrayed as Fia did when it happened. All around I can’t get enough of this story and it literally just came out. I totally think my new favorite character is Balor. I love our rock giant.
