Just because you are queer doesn't mean you have your life together

Creepy books made better because there are queer characters

queer werewolf (or otherwise wolf-themed) books. please make recommendations!! Originally began as a comps list for my upcoming novella but I'm pretty sure it's a standalone special interest now

✦ I have not read all of these books - if you notice anything that seems to be mis-labeled/mis-placed on this list, please let me know! ✦

I started this list based on feedback from the community, my sincere gratitude for all the feedback 🙂‍↕️ I got so many replies to a request, I thought they need to be documented for everyone. Will be adding books I read; more recs are always welcome as well. Trans, enby, anyone not cis writing horror stories about not-cis MCs may join these ranks.

Call me Ishmael for this is my white whale

Just a place for me to collect gay as fuck (and trans as fuck) wolfery or adjacent things!

Call me a monster? Have it your way 🤷‍♀️ Queer characters who become something wild, feral, misunderstood--and maybe also a literal creature.

Suggestions welcome!

horror books with autistic protagonists!

personal tbr & recommendations

This is one of my favourite movie genres so I thought I’d make a list for books!

Few things are as made for a queer lense as the theme of body horror. Here, you will find motifs of your body changing against your will, of having society view your very being as monstrous and "other". Happy reading!

Trans (mostly by trans authors) and some Queer horror (that can be read as a trans story)

Originally wanted to title this list "Want to cry?", but changed it to what it is now because not everyone's emotional threshold is the same.

《Will only be adding books I've read》
