Queer All Year
While it is highly celebrated in June, the Queer community exists all year long and this working list is created to support/encourage others to read more literature written by & represented people within said community.

an ongoing sapphic masterlist of books (1600+)
in progress
Basically, a huge list of every book I ever heard features sapphic characters.
I have not read all of these, so I cannot be sure of the amount of the time on page of the sapphic characters or of the quality of the books.
Some of these I do not plan to read at all, since they are not my style. If you feel like a book doesn't belong here, let me know.
For my favs / read, check out my other lists & shelves.
Open to suggestions for more titles.
Don't shoot the messenger.

Alternatives to Harry Potter
You liked Harry Potter but youโre angry at the author for being a huge transphobe and you would like some alternatives because you donโt want to give money to her so she can finance transphobia and you have enough of Harry Potterโs racist stereotypes like Cho Chang and other problematic themes in this saga? Youโre in the right place! I havenโt read all, if some are misplaced, let me know! Also, if you want more fantasy recs, I have a queer fantasy list! It is addressed to different ages.

If I Could Make A Quest: Sapphics Across Genres
Note: The Sapphic story in The Revanche Cycle tetralogy (Winter's Reach) continues in the Wisdom's Grave trilogy (Sworn To The Night), which also has the final HEA. However the two series can be read independently of each other.

practical magic but add queer witches
Something sapphic this way comes ๐ณ๏ธโ๐โจ (and also something queer in general bc I am here for all the queer in all the witchy settings, but there are a looooot more sapphic witch books than any other LGBTQ identity so that will take up the majority of the list!)

Bi, Pan & Queer Authors Who Write Sapphic
your fave iconic lesbian books were written by bi+ authors!!!
mostly to oppose the erasure of essential bisexual participation in lesbian literature and misinformation that bi+ women broadly prefer mlm to wlw. Most of these authors have several sapphic books so make sure to check out the rest! many are also nonbinary, trans and/or on the aro/ace spectrums so please be mindful of their pronouns, labels (or lack thereof) and gender identities. Suggestions welcomed!
