books about sea creatures, the ocean, and anything in between (prob might end up with a lot of shark ones)

Books that would help educate children about various important history topics, social justice issues, and people different from themselves (ie disabled, queer, or neurodivergent people).

Recommendations are always welcome! Fiction and nonfiction are fine. I would prefer more modern book recommendations. I’d love if you could explain your reasoning for recommending a bit!

Recommendations are always welcome — the only requirement is that the main character must be some sort of artist (painters, writers, dancers, musicians, chefs, and more are all acceptable) and that their love of art must play a key role in the plot.
